SeaSun Global has formally initiated high-level discussions with multiple state governments in India to explore tidal wave-powered desalination projects. The company is evaluating project opportunities in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, and Tamil Nadu — focusing on BOOT-model infrastructure supported by sustainable technologies.

In collaboration with engineers and advisors from Qatar and India, SeaSun Global has begun pre-feasibility modeling for its first-of-its-kind tidal wave energy system for water infrastructure. The study includes shoreline impact analysis, energy yield assessments, and environmental compatibility for a 200 MLD desalination plant.

SeaSun Global CEO held a closed-door briefing with key advisors to the Chief Minister of Karnataka, presenting the proposed tidal wave–desalination integration plan. The meeting was well received and has paved the way for formal MoU negotiations in the coming months.

As part of its long-term R&D roadmap, SeaSun Global is exploring strategic partnerships for the extraction of lithium, magnesium, and other critical minerals from desalination brine. The company is currently reviewing innovations from research institutes in India and abroad for a potential Phase 2 rollout.
